We've been playing this game for three days straight, now.
Almost all of us have played this game as kids, and I was truly hesitant to try the new version: "Where was the cool spinner? Why don't I get little plastic pin-head babies?"
Folks, I am now ADDICTED to the new version. I don't even care if I win or even FINISH the game.
You'll love how they updated this thing. Each player gets a credit card (with a Visa logo -- nice product placement) and the round electronic score keeper keeps track of absolutely everything (paydays, houses, children, etc.). This is why I will probably play this game again, tonight:
1) The career choices are relevent and numerous -- I've been everything from a fashion designer to a coach.
2) They have a lottery where everyone can participate, and investment opportunities where you wager a base amount and hit a "chance" button to see how well you did.
3) The cards you draw are amusing. Good conversation game.
Give it a shot. It'll make the old "Life" look like Old Maid.
(Ages 9+, $35)
